We are proud to have The Honourable Margaret Beazley AO QC, Governor of New South Wales and Mr Dennis Wilson as Royal Rehab’s Joint Patrons.
This appointment extends a long tradition of Governors as patrons of our facility. The first Patron of Royal Rehab was Governor Sir Harry Rawson whom in 1901 took a keen interest in the work of our Founder, Susan Schardt and endeavoured that he would do all he could as long as he lived. Sir Harry Moses, a successful pastoralist generously donated his home, Weemala, at Ryde for half its value of 7000 pounds and our outstanding facility remains at this location today.
